Appointments
Routine appointments
You can use your Patient access online app to make an appointment Patient Access Online
If you need to speak to a doctor we ask you call between 9am – 11am to be added for a same-day telephone appointment.
The Doctor will then be able to manage your needs via the telephone, or arrange to see you face to face if required.
We would ask for this reason you specify to reception which is your closest surgery (Fenny Compton or Shenington).
For on the day calls you will be unable to specify which doctor you wish to speak to.
Telephone Advice
During surgery hours, if you require telephone advice, please telephone the surgery on 01295 770855 ( Fenny Compton) or 01295 678124 ( Shenington).
At any time of the day or night you can access help by dialing 111. You will be put through to a triage operator who will ask you some basic questions about your condition / concern and will arrange for either a nurse or doctor to call you back.
Urgent appointments
After 11am (or when the morning appointments are filled) only urgent calls can be accommodated and it will be at the GPs discretion how and when patients are contacted. If the problem is deemed non-urgent by the GP you will be asked to either make a routine afternoon appointment or call back the following morning for an on-the-day appointment.

Home visits
Home visits must be requested before 10.30am and will only be provided for those patients who are eligible.
Please make every attempt to come to the Surgery or bring the patient. We can see five patients in the Surgery in the time it takes to do one home visit. Otherwise please phone the receptionist at the Surgery between 9.00am and 10.30am. It is likely that you will receive a call from one of the clinicians and be triaged before a home visit is offered. Babies and children, including those with a temperature or rash, may be brought safely to the surgery. Generally, this will mean that your child will be seen and treated more promptly.
