We are sorry but at present, we cannot accept temporary patients. There are exceptions for young babies or palliative patients.
A GP practice has the ability to accept patients even if you live outside the practice area. There are however limitations regarding home visits. If you wish to be considered for registration as an out of area patient please speak with our reception staff and see the below link for further details:
Catchment Area (Practice Boundary)You can search for your postcode by clicking the magnifier in the top right corner of the map, this will indicate whether you live within the boundary or not.
As part of the new GP Contract all patients now have a named accountable GP. That GP will have overall responsibility for the care and support that the surgery provides to you. They will also work with other relevant health and care professionals, who are involved in your care, to ensure that your care package meets your individual needs.
This does not mean that you will always have to see the same GP, you can see any GP at your request. However, the named GP will be ultimately responsible for all your medical needs.
